After spending months and months planning, the BIG DAY finally arrived. Stephenie and Daniel had the most magical wedding that I have been to yet! I photographed these two love birds for the first time at their engagement session earlier this year. It too was incredible and completely unique from anything I had ever done before. Ever since that session I have been waiting for their wedding day. These two radiate joy and fun, and it just seemed to make everyone around them feel the same happiness. There day was so perfect.
The day started off at the Natchez Grand Hotel, where Stephenie and her bridesmaids got ready in the most beautiful hotel suite with a balcony overlooking the Mississippi River. When Daniel and his groomsmen were done getting dressed we walked across the street to "The Bluff" and took some amazing and fun photographs. I got back to the hotel just in time to get a few shots of Stephenie's mom putting on her dress and get balcony shots of all of the bridesmaids.
Stephenie chose to do a first look with her dad, and there was so much happiness when she walked in the room. Her and her father then hopped on board a horse and carriage with her bridesmaids to go to the wedding !! Their ceremony was at a gorgeous gazebo overlooking the river. It was such a beautiful ceremony that was officiated by one of her childhood best friends, HOW COOL! They were married with each of their grandparents rings it was so sentamental!
After the wedding, Stephenie and Daniel gave me a time window to take couple photos. This was the most incredible time of the night for me! The sunset was so beautiful. (Future brides, if you're reading this, plan for 20 minutes after the ceremony for pictures!!!) After pictures, we walked up a few blocks to the 408 room where guest ate, the newly weds shared their first dance, cut the cake, and their amazing maid of honor/ best man gave touching speeches! They chose to do a sparkler exit before going to the "after party reception". It truly was such a magical night, and I know they did not want it to end.
The Natchez Brewery (INCREDIBLE LOCATION) gave a fun twist to the night with dancing, life size jenga, bag toss, and much more! Stephenie and Daniel thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding day. It was so beautiful, and I am so excited to share this blog with you. Enjoy married life, and CONGRATS!
(Also, hugeeee shoutout to my handsome assistant Chad who missed part of an LSU game and hunting to help. He also got some AMAZING shots that I could not have gotten without him, helped me when I was in a crunch, and just always pushes me to do my best and take phenomenal pictures!)
Here's the juicy part you've been waiting for ! Let me know what you think in the comments.
XOXO,
Brittany
