Natalie & Austin have been together for over 10 years and the two high school sweethearts finally married June 6, 2020 in the most beautiful ceremony at Popp Fountain in City Park. These two have been dealt quite a few cards marrying during a pandemic, and with hurricane quickly approaching the coast of Louisiana, but they made the best out of every moment. I can honestly say that their wedding was so intimate and the happiest day that I have ever seen. I couldn't possibly tell their story with as much detail it deserves, but I will do my best.
The day started off at Natalie's parent house where she was surrounded by friends and family to get dressed for her big day. What a special moment it was as Natalie prepared to marry her best friend in her childhood home! I shot beautiful details of the wedding here, listened to beloved friends share memories of their love story, and teared up as she opened gifts and read sweet words. A Limo picked up Natalie, her father, and grandfather for a grand entrance to their Gorgeous Ceremony.
After much prayer, the rain clouds parted just as we arrived to the venue. Mr. & Mrs. Jones tied the knot outside with the GORGEOUS Popp Fountain as a backdrop witnessed by their parents and siblings. Natalie began her descent down the aisle with her grandfather walking her, and ended the walk with her father giving her away to the man of his dreams. Austin and Natalie had such loving words in their vows, and it brought everyone to tears. After the ceremony we captured some amazing shots with the newly weds and their families and departed for Ormand Plantation for a Dinner and Reservation.
The plantation really brought out some southern Louisiana roots, and made me miss home! Their dinner table was beautifully decorated with the prettiest floral arrangements, name plates and menus! After dinner Natalie & Austin had their first dances. I usually only tear up with daddy daughter dances, but watching Natalie with her grandfather was the sweetest moment of the night for me. After first dances we danced the night away, ate cake, and toasted to the happy couple!
Natalie & Austin are planning a one year vow renewal to celebrate their marriage with ALL of their friends and family in June of 2021 & I can not wait to celebrate the two all over again!
